Welcome to "The Strawbale House"

When you set out to build your own house, you always try to introduce or include a little bit of 'character' to the dwelling - something that says "this is me!" and will set it apart from the rest of the neighborhood.

With a strawbale house there is no shortage of character - in fact, we can nearly guarantee that you will be the talk of the town, and have an amazing house as well!

Nina and I have always loved the mexican and santa fe style of life, living, and decor - the relaxed lifestyle, the simple designs, the bright colours.

The website you are visiting is an online 'diary' of our house, from day one, when we first bought the land, right through to today... although the house is now complete, bits still need doing, we have moved in, and not too much is happening with the house, some pictures are always being added to the photo album from time to time.
